About five years ago, I weighed 130 kilos, was borderline diabetic and couldn’t climb a flight of stairs without losing my breath. I wanted to get healthy. Feel better in my body.
I’d spent fifteen years unhappy in a country I thought I should be grateful to live in. Getting healthier became the catalyst for change. As I started respecting myself more, certain truths became harder to avoid.
I left my job and moved to the mountains without another one lined up. Living close to nature, I began to feel part of it too. Plant medicine and years of personal work helped me face what I had been avoiding.
Now I’m 47, in one of the best shapes of my life, and releasing my first album. I never imagined I would tell this story through music. This is my manifesto and testimony.
